Installing Decoders

On 9-4-11, I spent about forty-five minutes installing an MRC Sound Decoder for my Walthers Proto 1000 GP15-1 HO Scale locomotive.  My GP15-1 is painted and lettered for the California Northern Railroad (CFNR #112).  The installation was pretty simple.  I just followed the directions included with the MRC decoder.  The most complicated part of the installation was soldering the wires for the rear headlight.  The directions suggest soldering all of the connections, but I used the included black plastic tabs for the other wire connections.  So follow along with the pictures to see how easy it was to do.
